Objectives:
-
To
Provide guidance and referral services to victims of abuse,
violence and expolitation.
-
To
raise awarness for issues related to protection of children
and women.
- It
is a known fact that the survival of any organization is duly
dependant on the resources available.
- Non profit organizations find themselves having
to resort to fundraising activities to generate such means. To
plainly state, the fundraising function of an NGO is similar to
that of a marketing department in the corporate sector.
- Build the capacity of its partners and government
agencies with printed and audio visual material, conferences,
seminars and workshops.

Helpline operations require multi-pronged short
and
long-term strategies.
1st Step:
Immediately contact law enforcement
to make sure protection;
2nd Step:
Efforts are made to help clients in getting out of crisis situations,
mobilising available alternatives and to identifying accessible
resources;
3rd Step(a):
Victim’s Condition and Required Help;

Help in other issues;

4th Step:
The Helpline Team provide;
- Guidance, information & counseling;
- Legal advices in cooperation of senior lawyers
at LHRLA;
- Contact family members and counsel them as well;
- Referral service for all kind of required help;
5th Step: Raising
Victim's Voice;
- The organization organize press conferences to
stress Police and Government for arrest of influential culprits;
- Organize protests on various issues such as corporal
punishment to highlight issues for tacking action against responsible
persons;
- Issue press releases for the protection of victims
and move up related demands.
(Strategy remained successful as in many cases relevant
authorities took notice and did actions in victim’s support)
